Institutional Official
Daniel J Uhlrich, PhD, has been designated as the Institutional Official for the protection of human subjects at
the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
In this federally-mandated role, Dr. Uhlrich assumes operational authority
for the Institutional Review Boards (IRBs) at
UW-Madison.
In addition, Dr. Uhlrich is responsible for ensuring that University officials and federal regulatory agencies are aware of the activities of the IRBs.
