SAC consists of a core group of graduate students that represent a cross-section of the various departments on campus. SAC serves in an ambassadorship role to the program, providing valuable feedback to the MGN Coordinator and the Graduate School administration on issues that impact targeted graduate students as well as all graduate students at the University of Wisconsin. Working closely alongside the Coordinator, the council works diligently to support the endeavors of the program, maintaining its identity and objective to serve the underrepresented minority graduate student body.
Membership in SAC is on a voluntary basis, although we look for individuals who have expressed an interest in the program through active involvement throughout the year and support of the program’s objectives.
