The GRE Literature in English Subject Test is ONLY required for applicants to our Literary Studies program, Composition & Rhetoric Bridge program, and Afro-American Studies Bridge program. Applicants to our Applied English Linguistics program, Composition & Rhetoric program, and English Language & Linguistics program need to take the general GRE only.

The application deadline for the MA in Applied English Linguistics and the PhD in English Language and Linguistics is January 6.
