Possible changes will be posted by October 15. Below is some general information about the Art Department’s application requirements.
Send the following items directly to: Graduate Coordinator, University of Wisconsin-Madison Art Department, 6241 Humanities, 455 N. Park St., Madison, WI 53706. • Three letters of recommendation. We prefer hard copy letters, but if it is more convenient, you may also upload an online recommendation on the UW Graduate application. • One official copy of transcripts from each college/university attended.
After you have submitted your University of Wisconsin online graduate application and paid the application fee, please go to our online portfolio submission site https://artwisc.slideroom.com and upload the following information. • Cover letter stating intended area of study. • A statement of specific reasons for wanting to attend graduate school at UW-Madison and briefly describing your art work (1-2 pages max.). • Resume • A portfolio of up to 20 images of recent work. Applicants in video or performance only may present either a video or slides with accompanying text. No more than five films and/or interactive documents may be submitted, with a total presentation time not to exceed five minutes.
Notes: - There is an additional fee for Slideroom. - The Art Department is unable to review applications until fees have been paid and support materials received. | |||
