Graduate Student Professional Development
Career Presentation
About the videotape
In November 2005, several campus units* organized a panel discussion for graduate students and postdocs on interviewing for faculty positions. The panelists, four recent chairs of search committees, offered very practical and candid advice and answers to questions from the audience.
Since so many students expressed interested in attending this event, the panel presentation was taped to make it available to more students. It is posted below, along with other resources that may be of interest to you. We encourage you to discuss this material with your thesis advisor and other faculty and students in your department.
