Professional Development Events
The GSC coordinates a variety of professional development events such as workshops and discussion panels focusing on three main areas:
Academic Skills - Academic Skills workshops focus on developing skills and imparting knowledge that will facilitate and enhance your academic experience in graduate school.
Career Skills - Career Skills workshops will assist with career planning, teach skills to help in the job search, and develop competencies for the professional world.
Life Skills - Life Skills workshops cover topics that will help you maintain a healthy and balanced life, build a rich community, and develop leadership skills.

Social Events

Prior to the fall semester, the GSC also helps organize a variety of events for new graduate students such as the
