We invite all new UW-Madison graduate students to attend the New Graduate Student Welcome sponsored by the Graduate School.

Don't miss this opportunity to mingle with Graduate School deans and staff, hear from a panel of current students about grad student life, attend informative workshops, learn about the many resources available to you, and meet other new students.

Sunday, August 26th: ALPS Ropes Course

8:30am-4:30 pm

FREE day-long adventure workshop! RSVP required as space is limited. GSC/MGN Event

Wednesday, August 29th: GSC Reception at the close of the New Graduate Student Welcome

4:00-6:00 pm, Union South

Come mingle with current graduate students, Graduate School Deans and staff at the GSC reception following the Welcome events. Refreshments will be provided.

Thursday, August 30th: The Four Lakes Cultural Landscape Tour

3:30-4:45 pm

This walking tour will visit and interpret the significance of Indigenous/American Indian campus landmarks. Multicultural Graduate Network (MGN) Event

Thursday, August 30th: MGN Welcome Celebration

5:00-8:00 pm

Enjoy food, music and dancing while networking with multicultural graduate students across campus. Multicultural Graduate Network (MGN) Event

Friday, August 31st: GSC Social

5:00-7:00 pm

Come mingle and make new friends with incoming and returning graduate students. GSC/MGN Event
