Assistantships
The University of Wisconsin-Madison offers a large number of research, project and teaching assistantships to its graduate students. They are a central source of funding for graduate study. Tuition remission and eligibility for health insurance are provided, if an assistantship is assigned at 33% or higher. Stipend rates for PAs and TAs are determined by negotiations between the State of Wisconsin and the Teaching Assistant Association (TAA). For available assistantships, please check with your department or the Student Job Center.
