Diversity at The Graduate School
Greetings:
As the first person in my family to attain a graduate degree, I know first-hand the challenges facing graduate students from low-income, minority backgrounds. I would like you to know that we are committed to be part of your family's generational success story. This truly brings inspiration and renewed energy to all of us here at the Office of Graduate Student Diversity Resources.
We believe in diversity here-the City of Madison has long been a beacon for celebrating diversity and inclusivity, and our University has codified these qualities into our governance. This is one of the largest campuses in the country and it's our mission to make sure it's large enough to embrace your culture and background and small enough to give you a place to belong.
Creating community is what we do, and we'd like to welcome you to the many opportunities to participate in supportive communities. You will find programs and resources here that will truly enhance the quality of your experience at the Graduate School and for the rest of your life.
Graduate scholarship just begins in the classroom. We are here to broaden that classroom experience into a life-affirming learning environment where your goals are supported and your success story continues.
Welcome to graduate scholarship-welcome to the Office of Graduate Student Diversity Resources!
