  • Candidates who started work without a master's degree should pass the preliminary examination by the end of the seventh semester and no later than the ninth semester.
  • Candidates beginning work with a master's degree should pass preliminary examinations by the end of the fifth semester and no later than the seventh semester.
  • Candidates must pass an oral defense on the dissertation.
