Core requirements: 10 credits from CEE 500 or Soil Sci 621; and CEE 502 or Soil Sci 523 or Soil Sci 631; and CEE 609 (air quality topic) and CEE 908 or 909. Students should enroll in the seminar each semester and present a seminar on their research once per year.

  • Candidates in the thesis option must complete a minimum of 18 course credits, environmental chemistry and technology seminar (CEE 908/909) each semester, and 4 credits of CEE 990.
  • Candidates in the report option must complete a minimum of 24 course credits, environmental chemistry and technology seminar (CEE 908/909) each semester, and 3 credits of advanced independent study.
